Interim terms for the SigBond controlled testing programme (Stage 1 beta)
Version 1 · 4 September 2026
SigBond Ltd ("SigBond", "we"), company number 17435690, registered office Four Winds, Allington Lane, Eastleigh, SO50 7DD. Contact: team@sigbond.com.
These terms cover your use of the SigBond beta — a pre-release version of our software made available for testing and feedback. The beta is not a commercial service. It is provided free of charge and is still under active development. By taking part, you agree to these terms.
SigBond lets two parties create a verified record — a record of what they confirmed about a job, signed by both sides, with a cryptographic fingerprint that shows the agreed detail has not been altered since.
The legal status of a verified record has not yet been determined. A verified record is not a contract, and it is not legal advice. It is a record of what two parties confirmed, and a means of showing that record has not been changed.
You can export a document called a Dispute Pack, which summarises a verified record and explains its cryptographic fingerprint. The Dispute Pack is a computer-generated export. It has not been reviewed or endorsed by any court or legal authority, and nothing in it is legal advice. Whether and how it may be used in any dispute or proceeding is a matter for you and, where appropriate, your own legal adviser.
There are no charges in the beta. There is no subscription, and no payment features are part of this programme.
If you send us feedback, bug reports or suggestions, you agree we may use them to improve SigBond, without any obligation or payment to you.
SigBond Ltd owns the platform, its software, branding and content. Taking part in the beta does not give you any rights in them beyond using the beta under these terms.
Because the beta is a free, pre-release testing programme, our liability to you is limited to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
You can stop taking part at any time. We can suspend or end your access, or the beta as a whole, at any time.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
This is an interim document for the beta. We will update it as the programme develops, changing the version number and date each time.
